NEW Tek Recon - The Predator Unleashed for 2014

It's here, warriors! Tech4Kids has announced a new Tek Recon blaster that will be seen at the Toy Fair in New York. Meet The Tek Recon Predator. It was announced on facebook at 9 eastern today. Make sure not to get fooled by anyone claiming to have an exclusive on this! Tek Recon put it out there directly for YOU to see. Props to them for that!

The Predator boasts 100'+ ranges. This is cool. They are certainly working to stay in competition with other re-usable blaster makers (such as Nerf and Zing). The 100-round magazine is the largest capacity that I know of right now. I am hoping they include a full set of ammo in the box this year!

Another new touch is their specialty ammo they've been talking about. They say that there will be other colors of NRG rounds that are for things like Long shots and Soft shots.

All the accessories do make one drool a little bit too. Instead of announcing a bunch of blasters at once, they are focusing on one product with an awesome amount of bells and whistles! They are definitely in the running for one of the most tacticool blasters we've seen this year!

NEW BLASTER! - The Demolisher 2-in-1 from NERF N-Strike Elite

They just keep coming, warriors! This time the main N-Strike Elite line from NERF is adding another assault blaster to the mix. Meet the NERF N-Strike Elite Demolisher 2-in-1 blaster. This combines the good details of a lot of other blasters and then also adds the underslung grenade launcher! The folks over at Popular Mechanics did a great write-up on this one. This isn't the first NERF exclusive they've had, probably because they are great writers and just as much geek as the fans are! We just got official confirmation from our sources at NERF. This blaster is a go!

Now, PopMech does make sure to note that some tweaks are still happening with this blaster. The release is said to be slated for this Fall (2014). $40 for the price tag puts it in direct competition with the Rapidstrike from last year. Though we are talking semi-auto versus full auto. As pointed out by some fans, this is like a really good Stryfe update.

Nerf Assault Blaster - The Elite Rapidstrike Review

Hey Warriors,

We recorded the NERF N-Strike Elite Rapidstrike review over the weekend. I'm pretty impressed with the output on this beast, but the accuracy left much to be desired. This is so close to one of the greatest blasters available but for that downfall in targetting.

I still really like this blaster and I feel that it does have application in a NERF war. As some other bloggers have pointed out, the semi-auto blasters like the Hail-fire or the Stryfe may still be better options for accurately raining darts on your enemies whereas the Rapidstrike could be a supressive fire hound.
