NOT SOLD OUT? - Dart Zone Pro MK 1.1

First concerns first: As we broke to you last night on Instagram, top leadership at Prime Toys assures us that the Dart Zone Pro Mk1.1 IS NOT sold out at the time of this writing. There have been several factors that may have affected logistics on one end or another, but we're told issues will work out in less than a couple of weeks and to stay on their social media for updates.

LATEST UPDATE: Dart Zone did end up posting their own video update confirming details of how to secured your own Dart Zone Pro Mk1.1 here:

PREVIOUS UPDATE:

We're now told that the issue is online inventory. It's a SNAFU with the target.com listing not recognizing what they actually have in inventory. Something that never popped up when Dart Zone supported their own sales of the Mk1.

ACTION ITEM: Per Bryan Sturtevant of Prime Time Toys, Email coupondartzone@primetimetoys.com to hold your place in line and get an alert when target get the inventory problem figured out! I would also recommend clicking the notification button on the target.com listing to get alert when their system get it listed as in stock.

Several users across different platforms have reported back that they got a "canned" or generic e-mail back that confirmed they were in line for a coupon for the darts, but the e-mail also confirms that the blasters are not sold out and that target.com is working on things. I'm hoping to see a video from Prime Time Toys they mentioned to confirm what we learned on the show floor today.

Original Article:

As I got my hands on the Dart Zone Pro for the first time, it immediately began to break down my wall of "it costs too much". The thing is high-end. It feels high-end and fires high-end. Listen to Creative Director Bryan Sturtevant talk about where they are going now:

Have you seen these things in action? Check out what was possibly one of the first ever real booth battles on the main showroom floor at a New York Toy Fair! Dart Zone Pro Mk1.1 in action via a 2v2 grudge match:

NY Attorney General and Amazon Stifle AirForce Blowguns?

Updated June 6th:

Warriors, I just got a heads up on something sad. The NY Attorney General's crusade against toy guns has possbily killed a product of one of the companies we have proudly covered in the past. Air Force Blowguns is still selling on their own website here: http://airforceblowguns.com/.

According to the company, they were rocking 70 orders per day exclusively through Amazon up to December of last year. They were really rocking it and just about to make the next order to the factory when Amazon pulled the plug on their online sales. No explanation was given for days and then they finally cited a letter.

You see, in December 2014, the Attorney General's office of the state of New York sent cease and desist letters to major retailers they accused of selling realistic looking toy guns. Amazon's response was to arbitrarily pull certain toy guns and blasters off of their digital shelves.

Owners Zac & Becky Poulter say of Amazon: "They have some attorneys looking into the NY statute, but I don’t think it’s a real high priority for them. Just easier to pull us down. We realize we sell a really “politically incorrect” product…"

So, Amazon's excuse is that they apparently can't get their software to simply prevent sales to New York state. That sounds lame. I have contacted them to see if they have a clarification or response to this. So far, there has been no response to my contact.

I'm not sure how you can justify keeping this up on the site:
YK Night Hawk M16+
when you won't sell this:

Air Force Blowgun

Regardless, AirForce Blowguns is selling what they have left on their own website at airforceblowguns.com.

In their own words: "We’ve considered other options, but have decided to just sell through what is left.  When they’re gone, they’re gone for good," said the Poulters.

They are still running a special though, so maybe there is hope for a rebound!

"We’re also running a Father’s Day special - Get a free 50 pack of darts for every two guns purchased by June 20th. (If you’re trying to get them for Father’s day though, you need to allow a week for shipping.)"

AirForce Blowgun - Blow by Blow Review

Got the chance to get another review up! This time is the AirForce BlowGun from the company with the same name.

I just got done talking with the creators of the BlowGun and they've got some good news. They're checking out new samples from the factory right now that account for left-handed users. In addition, they tell me that a new design on the tube will get rid of the small jamming problem from using too much pressure to pull in a dart.

We should also talk more about the Range category. Becky from AirForce BlowGuns had some good responses to our review that I want to bring up. We should really acknowledge that the Range results will vary based on the individual operator (they include that on the box as well). We tested out the blaster with what I would consider an average force of breath. But the beauty of the blowgun design is that you can vary your breath to change the distance you are firing the darts. I am looking forward to trying this blasters in an upcoming, full-on battle to give it the best workout possible.

Maybe at some point we can add a chronometer and pressure or force measurement to the testing for a more thorough review too.

I'm looking forward to continuing to cover the AirForce BlowGuns. I think things will just keep getting better! ~Chris

Brand New - AirForce BlowGuns

Warriors, have you heard of AirForce Blowguns? I started watching these guys develop a few months back after an article that popped up in a search. The article was out of the Daily Herald in Utah and was titled Family works together to create fun foam gun for all ages.

The writer gives a lot of the background of the family and the start of their endeavors. But, of course, you're going to want to get a lot more on the operation of the gun and how it works. Well, we'll get that covered!

Check out the unboxing and be assured that a review is in the works:

The Huntsman

Hey Warriors! Check out this latest review from us here at Click Click BAMF. I was planning to get to this review a long time ago, but other stuff got in the way. But here it is now! It's the Lanard Hunstman 50 (or Commando 12).

Sadly, There still isn't a great stock sniper blaster out there. This one comes close -especially in looks.

And a heads up; We're bringing our "Shot of the Week" back at the end of the coming week. As you know, we started the weekly invite just after the new year. We took our Spring Break early so that we could bring you more material during actual Spring breaks in our area. More material coming about Nerf, Dart Warz Centennial, Lanard and others!

NEW Tek Recon - The Predator Unleashed for 2014

It's here, warriors! Tech4Kids has announced a new Tek Recon blaster that will be seen at the Toy Fair in New York. Meet The Tek Recon Predator. It was announced on facebook at 9 eastern today. Make sure not to get fooled by anyone claiming to have an exclusive on this! Tek Recon put it out there directly for YOU to see. Props to them for that!

The Predator boasts 100'+ ranges. This is cool. They are certainly working to stay in competition with other re-usable blaster makers (such as Nerf and Zing). The 100-round magazine is the largest capacity that I know of right now. I am hoping they include a full set of ammo in the box this year!

Another new touch is their specialty ammo they've been talking about. They say that there will be other colors of NRG rounds that are for things like Long shots and Soft shots.

All the accessories do make one drool a little bit too. Instead of announcing a bunch of blasters at once, they are focusing on one product with an awesome amount of bells and whistles! They are definitely in the running for one of the most tacticool blasters we've seen this year!

NEW BLASTER AGAIN! - N-Strike Elite Cam ECS-12 - 2014 Release

I'm not too sure what to think of the newest blaster to be announced from the NERF Fall 2014 line-up. The NERF N-Strike Elite Cam ECS-12 is a bit of a mouthful, but at the same time will leave your pocket a bit empty. Engadget popped up this little beauty today. Check them out for the full story. I'll just scribble some thoughts here rather than take and repost all of their pictures and such.

Nerf Assault Blaster - The Elite Rapidstrike Review

Hey Warriors,

We recorded the NERF N-Strike Elite Rapidstrike review over the weekend. I'm pretty impressed with the output on this beast, but the accuracy left much to be desired. This is so close to one of the greatest blasters available but for that downfall in targetting.

I still really like this blaster and I feel that it does have application in a NERF war. As some other bloggers have pointed out, the semi-auto blasters like the Hail-fire or the Stryfe may still be better options for accurately raining darts on your enemies whereas the Rapidstrike could be a supressive fire hound.
