SplitStrike Officially Confirmed for Fall 2015

Our contacts at Nerf will officially note that the blaster leaked in these images is called the SplitStrike. It's set up to be a Walmart exclusive and to be sold starting August 1 of this year. The suggested retail price is supposed to be $19.99 which is a bit steep-sounding for what it can do.

They didn't call it an Elite blaster, but the writing is on the wall . . . of the blaster if you look closely in a shot.

They don't have any official images yet, but are working on getting us some beauty shots and a little more info.

The Badger - A Foam Missile Launcher

I know how much some of you warriors like Call of Duty. Many more of you at least like other toy concepts besides just blasters. Well, the discovery I made at the store this week will combine those likes. Meet The Badger:

Desert Eagle of NERF? MEGA Magnus Un-boxing

Hey Warriors! Here is yet another unboxing for you. The NERF N-Strike Elite MEGA Magnus has been showing up in stores like Target and Walmart. In fact, I saw Walmart with an entire shelf of them mixed with Strongarms at the front of the store last night. In the video, I said we picked this one up at Target, but it was actually Walmart too.

Like many of the new NERF sidearms, the MEGA Magus is suggested to retail at $14.99. Certainly a far cry from the $50 MSRP they want you to spend of the MEGA Centurion. Of course, several of the retailers dropped that to about $40 recently too.

Price Drop on Rapidstrike - Get 'em while they're hot!

A quick heads up, Warriors! As I was looking for new product in local stores, I came upon a better price for the NERF Rapidstrike. The MSRP is at $39.99, but the price is currently lower than that!

Even those crooks at Toys R Us got in on the action, lowering their price to $34.99. But, of course, the best deal I found in the Colorado Springs are was at Wally World. $29.88 sings for this blaster. As promised, the Rapidstrike review is in our line-up for the near future. We aren't experiencing jamming or rate of fire issues that some of the other bloggers seem to be talking about. This should be a great assaulter or defender piece if you use it right. More to come on that.

So now you can go spend $30 instead of $40, or spend $40 to get even more NERF! ~Chris

Pic Spam - NERF Super Soaker 2013

So, several of the new Super Soaker blasters and accessories have shown up in one of the local Walmarts near Click Click BAMF's Mountain Division in Colorado Springs. Not that any of these are a surprise.

THE SHOTWAVE: This may be one of the weirdest new blasters I've seen. The water clip just sticks so far out that it seems things would be awkward. Though, the input placement makes this a good candidate for the Hydro Pack vest.

HYDRO PACK:  100 ounces of water to douse your enemies with. It works with any of the clip system soakers. It looks good, though I doubt it will fit larger adult frames.

Check out the new clips. Between the banana clips and the individually sold drums, you may be better off reenacting any big movie scenes with Super Soakers over other NERF blasters. At 20 ounces a pop, the banana clip can hold it's own while looking good. I still really like the placement of the caps on the Super Soaker clips, they are really convenient for a quick fill-up. And yes, the banana clips have belt clips on them, which is good. The drums are bigger, of course, holding 37 ounces a piece. These aren't too pricey either, coming in a 8 or 10 dollars a piece.

FLASH BLAST: NERF is fronting this thing as a sneak attack blaster. It holds 3.7 Ounces. This is so it can be compact and concealable. It only costs $8.99 so it could be a great addition to your arsenal. Not a bad addition, though I'd personally stick with the Electrostorm for one-handed access.

ARCTIC SHOCK: Did you ever add ice cubes to your water gun to give your opponents a surprise? Well the clip on this blaster is designed to help you fit those frozen cubes in more easily. The blaster itself is nothing special, so we can only hope that NERF will soon sell these clips separately to satisfy the masses!

Lastly the Switch Shot. Sadly, they stole the name from an already existing blaster. Honestly it doesn't steal from the coolness of this one though. The Switch Shot allows you to select your spray pattern from fours choice. It comes with a 20 ounce banana clip. I like the blue design on the box better than the orange -just sayin'. Don't forget the awesome stock that comes with it. I still think it's the most beast one they've come out with.

We're working on some testing variables for the Super Soaker line. Perhaps you'll see some of our indepth reviews on NERF Super Soaker blasters in the near future.

"Quoth the Rayven . . ."

This blaster may indeed be one of the best I've seen yet. I wouldn't be surprised to see this one become a favorite among many NERF players. Enjoy the review and be sure to let us know your thoughts on the blaster too! ~Chris

Lumitron On The Shelves 1st of February

Image created by Click Click BAMF, LLC
I inadvertently got my hands on some info today. This is from a sheet I found at the local Walmart that someone was using to organize the toy shelves. Looks like they've got some confusion as to the name of the NERF Lumitron. But, of course, the important part is that we'll be getting our hands on the Lumitron earlier than expected, at least in Colorado Springs. Too bad I couldn't just get copies of these things regularly!! I don't know about you, but I've fallen in love with the firefly tech in the Rayven and can't wait to see it's performance with the Vortex discs.

They also had a price label up for the Lumitron. It will ring at 32.88 US in Colorado Springs Walmarts -the same as they are carrying the Rayven for. No mention on that paperwork for any other "Light It Up" blasters. Wonder if we're going to get any others for that 3.3.12 release date. ~Chris

Electrostorm Shows Up

Well, earlier I showed you that the Lightningstorm and the Micro Burst were in stock at my local Walmart. Today I found the Electrostorm at another local Walmart. I dropped 9.97 US on it here in Colorado Springs. Do remember that you're paying for some electronics with this one. I think I'm going to love the feel of this blaster. I wasn't so excited when looking at it through a digital picture, but this think screams comfy sidearm when you get to see it in person!

BTW, some paperwork indicated that 3 Super Soakers would be joining the line-up in Spring. I'm not sure if they meant these announced blasters or three more new ones when it actually gets to Spring.

Looking forward to warmer months to try some of the new line out! ~Chris
